CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE PRISONER WINE COMPANY)
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, very bright, gently complex, ripe, plummy-black-cherry-cassis nose with some slightly spicy, cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, harmonious, ripe, bright, cassis-plum-black-cherry fruit flavours with fine mouhfeel and balance followed up be a lingering, gently cedary, raspberry-cassis finish. Very tasty and accessible now, it should hold well for a several more years. This crowd-pleasing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Charbono was aged 15 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels (55% new). It has 15% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0266/21101 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 20723
