| This delicious perfectly-ripe estate-grown blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec has a fairly deep intense garnet red colour. The nose shows lots of elegant, ripe, strawberry-cassis fruit with fine complexity including a touch of sandalwood and some gently toasty, faintly savoury notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, ready-to-enjoy, harmonious, ripe, plummy, crancherry-cassis flavours that show excellent balance with a very faintly smoky, lingering, bright finish. Only 250 cases produced, it has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: This wine is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec, all grown on a single estate vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The wine spent over a year in a mix of French and American oak barrels, adding complex smoky and spicy shading to the rich dark berry and evergreen notes. Pair with rack of lamb. |
