LA CUVÉE BRUT CHAMPAGNE MAGNUM AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LAURENT PERRIER
This limited-edition holiday magnum of La Cuvee Brut has a bright medium straw colour with an abundant streams of tiny bubbles. The nose is complex, faintly spicy and intense with ripe, lemon-apple meringue fruit followed up by lovely warm toasty brioche notes. It is dry, medium bodied and fairly rich with ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours and an elegant, bright, complex, toasty, lingering, mineral-tinged finish. Harmonious and nicely structured with refined effervescence - it is ready to enjoy. This blend of 53% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir and 14% Pinot Meunier has 12% alcohol and about 8 g/L residual sugar. According to the coding appearing on the cork, it was disgorged in the spring of this year and spent more than five years on the lees (the 750 ml bottle has four years) and consequently offers more flavour. Over 70% of the grapes were from the 2016 harvest. CSPC 27983
