FIXIN 2018 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HENRI DE VILLAMON
Medium deep purple-red colour. Elegant, very slightly spicy, ripe plum nose with hints of cherry and a faint touch of cedar. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, elegant, very slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a tangy, fresh, gently woodsy finish. Tasty and quite ready-to-drink, Fixin is a small commune in the Côte de Nuits and this one would be perfect with salmon and even turkey. It has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1923953 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 26436

TASTING NOTE: This wine brims with aromas of ripe, almost fleshy red and black cherries. The palate has the same generous, rounded fruit and displays all the ripeness of 2018, held together by freshness and a web of tannin. The finish has lovely balance.
