EVOLUTION PINOT NOIR 2020 Willamette Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SOKOL BLOSSER
Fairly deep purple colour. Very attractive, slightly spicy, gently juicy, ripe, cherry-plum-raspberry-cassis purée nose with some gently toasty, mineral-tinged notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, bright, fresh, ripe, plum-crancherry-raspberry-cassis flavours with a lingering, bright, gently cedary, faintly smoky finish. A very tasty, ready-to-drink, modern, fruit-driven Pinot Noir that will bring a smile to fans - it would be terrific with turkey. It has 13.5% alcohol and now 8 g/L residual sugar with lot number EVPN-0621 on the back label. Screwcap closure. The recommended 2018 (***) was released on November 13, 2021 at $26.95. CSPC 529081
