Deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, rather cedary, slightly spicy, complex, ripe, plum-cassis-cherry nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, intense, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, bright, gently cedary,red licorice tinged finish. This blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2-12:02 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Perfect with a rib steak. The recommended 2016 (***) was released on June 12, 2021 at $23.95. |
