BOURGOGNE HAUTES CÔTES DE BEAUNE 2020 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ANDRÉ GOICHOT
NEW in Vintages. Medium-deep purple-garnet colour, this 100% Pinot Noir has a fresh, slightly spicy, Damson plum nose with some slightly savoury notes. Very dry, medium bodied, still youthful, faintly peppery, firm, plum and red cherry flavours with a lingering, slightly spicy, bright finish. Still a bit grippy, it will benefit from additional aging. It has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L8121 on the back label. CSPC 26451

TASTING NOTE: This wine has a rich, ripe flavour profile, offering dark fruit, blackcurrant, cherry and raspberry notes with an earthy, forest floor quality and a hint of spice. It's quite generous but certainly not overblown, gracefully maintaining its Burgundian poise. A wine to enjoy for another 4-5 years with pork tenderloin or mild-flavoured hard cheese. Price $ 26.95
