CHÂTEAU HERVÉ-LAROQUE 2018 AP Fronsac |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

NEW in Vintages, this blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon has a very deep intense purple colour. The nose is slightly spicy and shows lots of cassis and cherry fruit with some gently complex, sandalwood notes. It’s dry, medium bodied and quite well structured with some, youthful, slightly peppery, dark plum and black cherry fruit followed up by a lingering, gently cedary, bright finish. It has 14% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and “was aged in top-quality oak berrels for nearly 17 months.” |
