A REPEAT of the 2018 (**/**+) that was released on September 4, 2021 at $27.95. Fairly deep intense purple colour, the nose is somewhat peppery with savoury, plum-apple fruit along with some cedary notes. Very dry, medium bodied, fairly high acid, faintly bitter, somewhat herbal, plum-red-apple flavours with a lingering, high acid, cedary finish. Aged for 16 months in French oak, the youthful Cabernet Franc notes dominate. It has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The 2015 (**) was released on April 4, 2020 at $27.95. CSPC 469031

TASTING NOTE: This latest red from Jim Cuddy and his friends at Tawse is a trio of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It spent 18 months in French oak, adding rich chocolaty notes to a core of brambleberry and black plum. Savour it through 2026 with barbecued chicken or sizzling steaks. Price $ 27.95
