MOSAIQUE MILLÉSIMÉ BRUT CHAMPAGNE 2008 AC, France
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer JACQUART
A REPEAT of the 2008 that was released on May 1, 2021 at $74.95 now with 199 cases of 6. Unfortunately, for the second time in a row, the LCBO tasting note is incorrect - this 2008 was aged 11 years (not 6) sur lees. It has a light yellow colour with good effervescence. The mature nose is intense and complex with baked apple-lemon fruit along with some toasty brioche notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, maturing, ripe lemon-apple meringue flavours with a long, mouthfilling, fairly high acid, toasty, finish. Great with food, this 50-50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has 12% alcohol, 8 g/L residual sugar and 7 g/L total acidity with lot number L7J084B803921on the capsule. Drink now, it's a best buy if you enjoy this style. CSPC 19359
