| At only $12.95 with 90-points this exceptional late arrival may well be the best value Champenoise to appear in Vintages. All three bottles I have tasted so far have been amazing. Bright pale straw colour. Attractive, clean, ripe, lemon-apple nose with bright, mineral-tinged notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, fresh, ripe, tangy, lemon-apple flavours with a fine, bright, effervescent finish. This new organic blend of 75% Macabeo and 25% Chardonnay has 11.5% alcohol and a very low “Brut Nature” 2.6 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22053V on the back label. It has 9 months of aging on the lees and was disgorged on February 22, 2022. It will keep improving over the next year. |
