| This popular REPEAT was just retasted from the recent freshly-bottled new shipment to Vintages (lot number L05/25/20 on the lower part of the glass bottle). Bright medium-pale red colour, the nose is very attractive with sweet, spicy, vibrant, honeyed, ripe, strawberry purée fruit. On the palate it's sweet, medium bodied and harmonious with spicy, honeyed, ripe strawberry flavours and a lingering, bright, refreshing finish. Very tasty and ready-to-drink, it has 11% alcohol and 223 g/L residual sugar. I previously tasted it in a comparative blind competition of 14 red icewines at the 2019 Ontario Wine Awards. It was the sole GOLD medal winner and has received many accolades internationally. |
