CHÂTEAU DE BEAUREGARD-DUCOURT BLACK LABEL 2018 AC Bordeaux |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

This bargain-priced, ready-to-drink, 50-50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon has fairly deep red colour followed up by an intense, ripe, plum-black-cherry nose with some slightly earthy, cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, ripe, Damson plum fruit flavours with some mulberry notes on the lingering, bright, slightly spicy, sandalwood-cedar finish. Located in Entre-Deux-Mers, it was aged in stainless steel vats and oak barrels and then blended where it was stored in tanks until bottled. In this case the lot number on the capsule L4197 suggests bottling on May 24, 2024 just prior to shipping. At iit’s peak, so drink and enjoy. |
