IL PRINCIPIO AGLIANICO 2017 DOC Irpinia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TERRE DORA DI PAOLO
NEW in Vintages. This 100% Aglianico has a fairly deep garnet-red colour. Attractive, intense, somewhat rustic, faintly earthy, date-tinged, dried ripe plum fruit with some floral, violet-tinged, dried rose notes. Very dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, fairly dense, baked Damson plum fruit flavours with a lingering, slightly savoury, gently grippy, iron-mineral-tinged, woodsy, bright, roasted chestnut finish. Lots of texture and perfect for wild game and robust stews, this tasty 2017 has 13% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22053 on the capsule. CSPC 36727
