GENTIL 2021 AC Alsace
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer HUGEL
This 13th Vintages release since 2003 has a bright pale straw colour. Very spicy, honeyed, ripe, apple-melon -pear puree nose with some slightly floral, mineral notes. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, intense, spicy, ripe apple-pear-lemon-melon purée flavours with a fairly crisp, mineral-tinged finish. Hugel “Gentil” is based on the following: the spicy flavours of 32% Gewurztraminer, the body of 25% Pinot Gris, the finesse of 15% Riesling, the grapiness of 3% Muscat and the refreshing character of both 15% Pinot Blanc and 10% Sylvaner. Ready-to-drink - it is great with spicy Asian cuisine. This 2021 has 12.5% alcohol and under 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number CBCNEL on the upper part of the glass bottle. CSPC 367284
