| The best to date, discounted $2 a bottle and showing beautifully now. This 2020 has a lighter medium-deep red colour and a very attractive, bright, gently juicy, ripe, plummy-blueberry-cherry nose with some red licorice notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, slightly spicy, appealing, fresh, ripe plum-cherry-raspberry fruit flavours with a lingering, well balanced, lifted, sandalwood-tinged finish. This very tasty 100% Xinomavro was aged for 12 months in used French (90%) and American oak. Perfectly ready-to-drink, it has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11023Y on the back label. |
