PETITE SIRAH 2016 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer STAGS' LEAP WINERY
This is one of 77 items (136 releases) not presented to taste under new LCBO policies. Any item not tasted is assigned an interim ZERO-STAR (-) rating and an interim 0-POINT proxy score until properly assessed. The 2015 (***) was released on October 13, 2018 at $57.95. Here is my previous note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Cedary, intense, complex, spicy, slightly baked, ripe plum-cherry-blueberry nose with some faintly reductive, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, intense, ripe plum-cherry purée flavours with a cedary, bright, slightly mocha-chocolate-tinged, high acid finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5g/L residual sugar. CSPC 590356
