Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, very spicy, baked plum-cherry nose with lots of cedary mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, tangy, faintly minty, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, cedar-tinged, high acid, peppery finish. This blend of Shiraz, Dolcetto and Cabernet Sauvignon has 14.5% alcohol and now 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 8078 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. The 2014 appeared in Vintages (**) on February 17, 2018 at $14.95. |
