Attractive, very fresh, gently spicy, ripe, strawberry-tinged nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, very fresh, gently fruity, ripe red apple, strawberry-watermelon flavours with a lingering, crisp, refreshing finish. This is the best yet! Made exclusively from the indigenous Xinomavro grape, Kir-Yianni’s new 2018 has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L06519 on the back label. Made with the indigenous-to-Greece Xinomavro grape, this wallet-friendly pink wine was crafted using a combination of two winemaking methods: direct press (90%) and saignée (10%). Expect juicy apple, watermelon and exotic flowers, with enough tannins for structural lift, and sip it with grilled eggplant and olive tapenade. Price $ 13.95
