CHÂTEAU CAMILLE GAUCHERAUD 2010 AC Côtes de Bordeaux - Blaye
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer
This is one of 73 items (130 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. Moreover, this is one of 12 releases that has never appeared before in Vintages. Assessed from a sample provided by the listing agent. Bright deep intense purple colour. Surprisingly fresh, ripe and juicy with an abundance of plummy black cherrry purée fruit along with a touch of cedary-vanilla. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, ripe, plummy-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, tangy, fairly high acid finish. This tasty blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet was aged for 12 months in barriques. It has a hefty 14.4% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L,BCBXF19 on the back label and 187.12 on the lower part of the glass bottle. A remarkably tasty, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser at a terrific price. Move quickly as only 39 cases were purchased for distribution to only 7 Flagship stores.
