Just as Petite Sirah is making a modest come-back in California, it is being recognized in Chile as filling a niche for a big red alternate to a field dominated by Cabernet and Merlot. Tasting note: Colour deep purple. Bouquet of cherry, spices, black olive. Rich, full, supple, yet with marked tannins to finish. (Claudius Fehr, Mar. 1, 2001) Price $ 19.80
