TASTING NOTE: Stratus is known for blending with the best of them, and this rosé brings together a wild combination of Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. Nice fruity-savoury-tangy interplay here, with Red Delicious apple, strawberry jam, red bell pepper and garden herbs. A kiss of residual sweetness juxtaposes with a bright, lip-smacking acidity while trace tannins lend gentle structure. Pour with herbed lamb, spicy sausages, grilled curried shrimp, or pizza with a garlic cream sauce. (Vintages panel, April 2018) Price $ 18.95
