Bright deep straw colour. Fairly intense, spicy, honeyed, lemon meringue-tinged, ripe apple puree nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple-lemon-melon puree flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, mineral-driven finish. Has 12.8% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BUY - Lightly spicy, apple nose with a note of white flowers; medium-bodied, creamy, apple flavour with light toast note. |

The wine is aged in 10% new French oak and undergoes 15% malolactic fermentation to add richness yet preserve fruit purity and a zing. Aromas of green apple. Full-bodied. Pair with roast chicken.
