TASTING NOTE: One of the shiniest of Ontario's shining Chardonnays, this a perennial superstar and not to be missed - especially at the price. Sourced from three parcels in the Cave Spring Vineyard from vines 32-38 years of age, it's rich and complex with impressively articulated apple, pear, apricot, vanilla, spice and a creamy, buttery finish. Long and elegant, this would be a fine option for grilled seafood or pork ribs. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2017) |
