|Day glo salmon pink colour. Spicy, honeyed, ripe, fresh apple-plum puree nose. Off dry, medium-light bodied, very spicy, honeyed, ripe plum-apple puree flavours with a tangy finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Meanwhile, beware of tastings.com reviews (from The Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago) which are apparently paid-for by producers. It means that you might ignore the 91-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue.

Spicy, Bright, Ripe Apple
|TASTING NOTE: Silvery pink color. Savory aromas and flavors of strawberry shortcake, pickled cherries, and reduced lemon and orange with a satiny, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a smooth, appealing, medium-long candied lemon zest, wheat grass, and minerals finish with fine, well-integrated tannins and no oak. A delightfully savory and mouthwatering rose that will be great at the table. Gold Medal. Exceptional. 2017 World Value Wine Challenge Best Value Australian Rose.
