CRIANZA 2014 DO Ribera del Duero
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CONDADO DE HAZA
Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, unappealing, slightly spicy, bitter, herbal, dusty, unripe, dried apple nose. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, slightly spicy, peppery, dried apple flavours with some slightly earthy notes on the lingering peppery finish. This 100% Tempranillo spent 18 months in oak and is seriously disappointing. Tasted twice from two separate bottles. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number CR290417/18 on the back label. The recommended best buy 2010 (**+) with 89-points was released on April 18, 2015 at $24.95. CSPC 963348
