Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

FALESCO) |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Grippy, youthful, slightly spicy, dried apple-plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, maturing, intense, sandalwood-driven, baked plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, woodsy, sandalwood-licorice-tinged, very faintly sweetish finish. This 100% Sagrantino has 15% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. |

TASTING NOTE: Maturing beautifully, this wine expresses itself with new leather, cherry and cocoa powder. It's sleek, elegant and poised with good structure. Drink now through 2025 with sizzling steak and Asia go-dusted grilled mushrooms. (Vintages panel, April 2018) |
