CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2015 Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SEVEN FALLS
I was unable to taste this as it was not presented at the consultants preview in the LCBO lab. Here is Tony Aspler’s review: Dense purple colour; cedary-vanilla oak nose of plums; full-bodied, sweet and juicy black plum flavour, creamy mouth-feel with a herbal-spicy finish or unresolved tannins. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 30% new oak (73% French, 27% American) and 70% neutral oak for 15-17 months. It has 14.5% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 360222

This Cab has earned a solid following among Vintages customers who are impressed and delighted by its taut but approachable style, so much so that it will soon join our Essentials program. Look for generously articulated dark fruit, cherry and dried herbs with a vanilla-chocolaty undertone supported by soft, caressing tannins. This will be a supple, silky wine with broad appeal, which makes it an ideal choice for all your entertainment needs. Give this a try with roast meat dinners or anything hot off the grill - steak and ribs in particular. Price $ 21.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
