Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, complex, ripe, plum-cherry puree nose with some dusty mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry-cassis puree flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. This blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot has 14.8% alcohol. The Eisele Vineyard grapes are certified ‘organic’ by California Certified Organic Farmers and ‘Biodynamic’ by Demeter. TONY ASPLER / 93-points - Cedary, herb-tinged blackcurrant nose; medium to full-bodied, richly extracted, savoury, creamy blackcurrant and mocha chocolate; well-structed with ripe tannins and juicy black fruit flavours.
