Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, gently spicy, ripe red cherry-plum nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious, well structured, intense, bright, spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, harmonious finish. This blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot has 14.6% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. Aged for 20 months in French oak (61% new) and unfined and unfiltered. The 2013 (***) was released on March 18, 2017 at $124.95. TONY ASPLER / 92-points - Cedary, plum and blackcurrant nose with vanilla oak notes; full-bodied, rich and flavourful, lovely mouth-feel, ripe black fruit flavours with cocoa powder tannins.
