Intense violet colour. Slightly spicy, sandalwood-tinged, slightly dusty, baked plum-apple nose. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, sandalwood-tinged, red brick finish. This Aglianico has 12.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number LAA16 on the back label. Unfortunately, not at all up to the recommended best buy 2015 (**+) that was released on May 27, 2017 at $13.95. CSPC 475251
