Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, youthful, slightly spicy, baked plum flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number CVL01618 on the back label meaning that it was recently bottled on January 16, 2018. The 2013 (**/**+) was released on September 2, 2017 at $25.95. TASTING NOTE: Serious, dense and plummy, this sensuous, richly textured Malbec is a classic Luján de Cuyo style, with lots of ripe bramble and blueberry fruit, an overlay of toasty oak, fine tannins and a sweet, supple finish.
