Winner of the Wine Revelation of the Year award from Descorchados 2017. TASTING NOTE: Winemaker José Ignacio Maturana, formerly of Casa Silva, and his father Javier are responsible for Maturana Wines, a project that is slowly growing in volume and creativity. An example of the latter is this 'orange' wine made from torontel planted 70 years ago in the Loncomilla zone in Maule. They left the juice macerating on its skins for five months and the result is this intense orange color and structure reminiscent of a red. A special wine, made to drink with sea urchins.
