Winner of the \"Top 10 Red Wine $15 and Under\" Exceptional Value at the 2017 World Value Wine Challenge. TASTING NOTE: Deep purple color. Fruity, spicy aromas and flavors of chocolate sesame candy, pistachio nougat, spicy berry pie, and tangerine with a satiny, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a polished, interesting, medium long vanilla toffee, dried raspberry, and smoked nuts finish with silky tannins and light oak. A very tasty, nicely made cabernet with fine flavor and structure. Exceptional. Best Buy. Score - 90 (tastings.com, Sept. 25, 2017) |
