Extremely deep intense purple colour. Youthful, fairly peppery, dried ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, very bright, slightly spicy, gently juicy, plum-cherry puree flavours with a gently cedary finish. This blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. The 2009 (*/*+) was released in Vintages on May 16, 2013 at $24.85 (cspc 189258).
