Very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, sandalwood-tinged, ripe cherry-plum puree nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, spicy, crisp, lifted, plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, high acid, bright, cassis finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L8014 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / TRY - Spicy blackcurrant with cedar notes; medium-bodied, dry, fruity plum and blackcurrant flavours with a firm tannic finish. |
