Very pale day-glo salmon colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, attractive, fresh ripe apple-melon-plum flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. This blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Better than the 2016 (**/**+) was released on October 28, 2017 at $22.95. TASTING NOTE: A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle grown in a clay-and-limestone vineyard at 365 metres above sea level in southern France, this wine expresses gorgeous spring flowers, peach, apricot, cantaloupe, cherry and strawberry. It's sleek, bright and elegant with substantial mouthfeel and a zesty orange-peel finish. Drink now through 2020 with poached salmon, crab salad, or chicken breast in a light cream sauce.
