TASTING NOTE: I love the packaging, a pink riff on the Dom Pérignon label. And the wine inside this lot is superior to the last version I tasted (two years ago), a medium garnet that could be a light red from the Jura, while the nose and palate are explosively fruity, mostly red fruit - strawberries and raspberries, forward and crunchy. Length and depth are impressive - this delivers a solid packet of flavour. There's an impression of sweetness from both ripe fruit and a pinch of residual sugar, broadening the appeal. Nice length, too. A crowd-pleasing wine to be sure, from novice to serious drinker. Tasted October 2016. Score - 89 (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com, Oct. 2016) Price $ 22.95
