Bright medium-deep orange tinged gold colour. Pungent, spicy, honeyed, intense, warm ripe apple purée nose with some lifted caramel notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, wonderfully smooth. quite rich and spicy with gently honeyed, intense, warm ripe baked apple flavours plus a long, lingering, gently tangy, vanilla-caramel finish. Great served neat or on the rocks with appetizers - even foie gras! You will find this unique apple based eau-de-vie (aka Brandy) in the Cognac-Brandy section of the LCBO in over 200 stores. Boulard is family-owned and was founded in 1825.
