TASTING NOTE: The 2013 Ca'Linverno is made in a unique process in which grapes are left to shrivel and dry out on the vines until after winter (\"inverno\" in Italian). The wine is plump and juicy with high extract and an impressive level of aromatic intensity. You get those distinctive aromas of raisin, prune or dried fruit with sweet back-end notes of rum cake, mocha and spice. The wine offers very attractive thickness and roundness in terms of texture. There is noticeable residual sugar on the close. Score - 91 (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, May 31, 2017) Price $ 23.95
