Fairly deep purple red colour. Slightly spicy, attractive, maturing, warm plum-sandalwood nose. Dry, medium-full bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, mature ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, sandalwood finish. Made entirely from Sangiovese it has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L7076 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, cherry nose; medium-bodied, dry, elegant, well-balanced flavours of cherries and plums finishing firmly on ripe tannins. The recommended 2014 (***) with 90-points was released on January 7, 2017 at $31.95. |
