TASTING NOTE: The 2014 growing season began with a warm spring and the earliest bloom in 25 years and saw Firesteed harvest their Pinot earlier than ever before. The resulting wine is lithe and tangy with bright, ripe red cherry, savoury wood spice and a compact, attractive mouthfeel. Pair with mushroom pot pie. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) |
