TASTING NOTE: This blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese was first produced in 1986. It's always a wine of great value and style. The 2015 version is supple, complex and floral, with spice, cherry, black fruit, plum, leather, peppercorn and bramble tones. Juicy and crafted in a modern, approachable style, it will have wide appeal at the table. (Vintages panel, June 2017) |
