TASTING NOTE: Eight blocks harvested over 2 weeks, matured in French oak (20% new) for 12 months. A full-bodied cabernet with deep colour and robust mouthfeel; while the tannins are balanced, they need to soften, but there's enough blackcurrant fruit to wait however long the process takes. Drink By: 2034. Special Value. Score - 93 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Oct. 6, 2016) |
