TASTING NOTE: Sourced from volcanic soils, this wine prominently reveals the classic intensity, firmness and minerality found in the wines of Aglianico del Vulture. Toasty and rich with impressive red fruit, plum, herbal and leather tones along with a perfectly pitched bitterness mid-palate. A really good, tasty wine - try it with smoked pork, prime rib or a hearty meaty stew. (Vintages panel, June 2017) Price $ 15.95
