Deep purple red colour. Mature, intense, slightly rusty, sandalwood-tinged, red licorice nose. Dry, medium bodied, fairly well structured, mature, slightly beefy, licorice-tinged, dried plum flavours with some lingering, garrigue notes on the high acid finish. Best with a rib steak. The vineyard is planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot and on average, the vines are close to 25 years of age. It has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L15PEY236C03TL on the lower part of the glass bottle.
