One of only 5 BEST BUY January 5 RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS - Medium golden amber colour. Extremely attractive, sweet, ripe, figgy, caramel-butterscotch nose. Lovely, sweet, medium bodied, very spicy, smooth, honeyed, ripe plummy-caramel flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, Seville orange marmalade-tinged finish. A terrific Sherry-syled value from the adjoining region of Montilla-Moriles. Has 18 % alcohol and 113 g/L residual sugar with lot number L7242 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 91-points / BEST BUY - Nutty, dried fig nose; full-bodied, dry, rich, spicy fig and nut flavours, great intensity of flavour and a long satisfying finish. |

TASTING NOTE: Alvear produces a non-vintage Cream, which is essentially a sweeter style of Oloroso. Its dark amber color is accompanied by sweet, nutty, milkshake-like aromas, tremendous precision as well as intensity, and a marvelous finish.
