| Bright pale straw colour. Spicy, honeyed, dried apple nose. Sweet, medium-light bodied, honeyed, spicy, apple puree flavours with a fairly crisp, unoaked finish. Has 11.5% alcohol and 38 g/L residual sugar with lot number L4606071751 on the front label. | The Romanian variety Grasa is capable of producing dry and semi-sweet styles. A true gem, it is found only in Romania, and even then there are only approximately 450 hectares planted. These are ripe, round wines with suggestions of walnuts, almonds and apricot. They are notably balanced and vibrant. This botrytis-affected wine will be ideal with nuts, dried fruit or blue-veined cheeses. |
