Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, warm plum nose with some slightly resiny, vanilla stick and garlic notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, ripe plum flavours with a tangy, cherry-driven, bright finish that has some faintly bitter garlic notes. Ready-to-drink. Tasted once. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L172267 on the back label. The 2014 (**) with 87.5-points was released on February 18, 2017 at $12.95. TONY ASPLER / 87-points / TRY - Cedary, tobacco nose of plums; medium-bodied, dry, fresh and lively on the palate with a red plum flavour. Good value. |
