Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GIANNI GAGLIARDO
Ambering fairly deep brick red colour. Spicy, gently plummy, sandalwood nose with some red licorice and autumnal, fallen leaf notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, ripe plum puree flavours with a lingering, sandalwood fairly high acid finish. A traditional style and quite ready-to-drink. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L5191 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Spicy, dry, cherry nose with a cedary note; medium for full-bodied, dry and savoury, dried cherry flavour with a firm structure. CSPC 548719
