Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
GIANNI GAGLIARDO |
Ambering fairly deep brick red colour. Spicy, gently plummy, sandalwood nose with some red licorice and autumnal, fallen leaf notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, ripe plum puree flavours with a lingering, sandalwood fairly high acid finish. A traditional style and quite ready-to-drink. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L5191 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / TRY - Spicy, dry, cherry nose with a cedary note; medium for full-bodied, dry and savoury, dried cherry flavour with a firm structure. |
